CITMA Spring Conference

Sacco Mann attended this years CITMA Spring Conference again which was held at the Waldorf Hilton Hotel in their timeless Palm Court event space. Consultants Lisa Kelly and Clare Humphris manned the stand where Trade Mark professionals a plenty got to talk all things 2024 salary survey, career advice and ‘how do we win that magnum of Veuve Cliquot?!’

The event is always a fantastic networking opportunity for professionals across the Trade Mark sector. Year on year, Sacco Mann are the only specialist IP Recruitment Consultancy amongst the exhibitors which also include our lovely friends at WebTMS, Jonathan’s Voice, Corsearch (event sponsors) and Thomson Reuters to name a few!

Navigating the digital frontier was the theme of this years talks which led to lots of discussion around AI, how machine learning affects IP protection and provoked questions around ‘Who has a legal personality?’

After multiple talks throughout the day accompanied by a light lunch and various refreshments, we kicked off the evening drinks reception with our infamous CITMA quiz raffle draw whereby the completed quiz results are put into a raffle and one lucky winner takes home a magnum of Champagne! This year’s lucky winner was Lyndsey Hall (Hepworth Browne) – well done Lyndsey, we hope you enjoy!

The 2024 Spring Conference also introduced a new sticker collecting activity which further enhanced conversation and networking – those who collected stickers from all the exhibitors were given the chance to spin the wheel and win prizes. Congratulations to our lucky Sacco Mann prize winners; Teresa So (Allen & Overy), Mark Bhandal (Forresters) and Emilie Adams (Clifford Chance) – happy shopping!
