Employment Solicitor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a regional law firm, with a national reputation, in Leeds city centre. This is a great opportunity to take a role at a well-established practice based in Leeds inside a large and well-structured team.

The Role

As an Employment Solicitor, you will be involved in both contentious and non-contentious matters, handling your own caseload and supporting senior colleagues on complex issues. You will predominantly be acting on behalf of businesses (including some large household names), but the firm does also handle some claimant employment matters to a lesser extent - particularly on behalf of senior executives. Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising clients on a range of employment matters, including general advisory work and disputes
• Managing your own client relationships and caseload, ensuring you deliver tailored and commercial advice.
• Collaborating with corporate, commercial, and restructuring teams on people-related matters in transactions

About you

• 2+ years PQE with solid experience in employment law.
• A team-oriented mindset, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively.
• The ability to work autonomously and under pressure while delivering results.
