Our client is seeking an experienced Asbestos claims Lawyer to join their excellent Industrial Disease team in Bolton. This is a great opportunity to lead your own complex litigated asbestos cases while working in a fast-paced and evolving legal environment.
As a Disease Lawyer, you will:
- Handle a caseload of asbestos related claims, managing all aspects from inception to conclusion.
- Review key documents and evidence, including medical and personnel records.
- Conduct investigations, obtain witness statements and instruct counsel/experts.
- Attend conferenced, court hearings, and trials.
- Provide clear legal advice and reports to clients and claims handlers.
- Engage in advocacy and court appointments as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and business objectives.
What you bring to the role:
- Experience handling litigated asbestos claims.
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and case management skills.
- A proactive, enthusiastic and solution-focused approach.
